AI Readiness Sprint
Maturity assessment, a ranked register of use cases scored on value and risk, a 90-day action plan and a board briefing.
For businesses of 50–500 people
Senior-led AI and digital transformation for growing businesses — delivered personally by someone who built it at scale, not by a team of graduates with a slide template.
The gap
If any of this sounds like your last twelve months, the problem isn't the technology.
Every vendor promises transformation. Few deliver an outcome anyone can measure. Knowing where to start has never been harder.
The consultancies with the strongest practitioners charge enterprise day rates — and you pay for associate teams and slide decks, not senior delivery.
The software went live and nobody used it. Processes unchanged, ROI unproven. The tool was fine. Adoption was the problem.
What you can buy
Each of these is a defined piece of work with a deliverable you keep. You'll know the price before the first meeting ends.
Maturity assessment, a ranked register of use cases scored on value and risk, a 90-day action plan and a board briefing.
A governed Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout: policy pack, prompt library, champion training and an adoption dashboard.
One end-to-end process automated in Power Platform, handed over with a runbook your team can actually maintain.
A map of your data estate, an honest quality assessment, a governance model and a platform recommendation.
AI usage policy, risk register, EU AI Act and UK regulatory mapping, plus plain-English guidance for staff.
Two days a month at board level: strategy, vendor oversight and roadmap governance without a full-time hire.
Not sure which one? The Readiness Sprint exists to answer exactly that — in two weeks, for a fixed fee.
How engagements grow
Most clients begin with a two-week assessment and decide from there. Nothing commits you to the next stage.
The Mantra Method
The commonest mid-market failure is a large deployment decision taken on a vendor's claims rather than evidence from your own environment. This method makes that impossible.
Where are we actually?
What's worth doing first?
Does this work here?
How do we roll it out?
How does value survive us?
Sustain returns to Orient. The method is a cycle, not a line — a fresh baseline twelve months on, because transformation isn't an event you finish.

Who you work with
I spent twenty-five years at PwC UK, where I founded and scaled the firm's national Power Platform Centre of Excellence from a standing start — governance, adoption, training and delivery for a community of over a thousand practitioners.
That experience taught me something the vendor market keeps getting wrong: the technology is rarely the hard part. Getting several hundred people to change how they work, safely and permanently, is the hard part. It's also the part that determines whether the investment returns anything.
Mantra exists to bring that discipline to businesses that could never justify a Big Four engagement — at a fifth of the cost, with no leverage pyramid and no junior team learning on your budget.

Bring the problem you're actually stuck on. If I'm not the right person for it, I'll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.
